Insurance + Financing

Dental insurance and financing options for your orthodontic care

Dental Insurance

Dental health insurance plans vary widely. You should know how your plan is designed, since this can significantly affect the plan’s coverage and your out-of-pocket expenses.

Each insurance carrier offers a variety of benefit plans with different features. We currently participate with all PPO dental plans, however all charges you incur are your responsibility regardless of your insurance coverage. As a courtesy to you, we will help you process all insurance claims. You may chose to direct your insurance company to pay your benefits directly to our office by signing an authorization of benefits agreement.

If you have dual coverage, the amounts paid by the combined plans will not exceed 100 percent of your dental expenses. Benefits for dependents vary from plan to plan. Pay particular attention to special clauses.

Maximums
Most dental plans have a lifetime dollar maximum. This is the maximum dollar amount a dental plan will pay toward the cost of your orthodontic treatment. The patient is personally responsible for paying costs above the lifetime benefits. Check your our plan information about this.
Limitations and Exclusions
Dental plans are designed to help with part of your dental expenses and may not always cover orthodontic treatment. It’s very important that you read your plan booklets before choosing a particular carrier and/or plan.
